Victorian jewelry is known for it's romantic and fine construction. This brooch features a beautifully colored portrait of a fine woman, with blushing cheeks and a soft smile. This was probably a contracted portrait made to be worn by a loved one. Crafted from 18k yellow gold and hard enamel, the brooch is in excellent condition. Four delicate rose cut diamonds sparkle from their settings at the top of the frame. The vivid colors include yellow, lavender, red and teal.
