This amazing lorgnette is decorative and functional. When closed, this piece looks like a single magnifying lens. Pressing on a small button at the base of the lens releases a second lens. The frames that hold the lenses are accented with decorative carving and the handle is accented with curls and scroll work. This piece can be worn around the neck by slipping a decorative antique chain through the opening at the top of the handle. This piece measures 3 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide at the widest point. The inside of the bridge of the lenses is stamped "Tiffany & Co." and "14K".
